Hail and Well Met!
Tinne Lune (roughly pronounced ‘Chin-uh Loon’) means ‘holly moon’ in Gaelic. If you ever ask Captain J.P. Boyd, he’ll tell you it’s pronounced ‘Tiny Loony’ — but you can’t trust him, he’s a pirate.
In 2002 Tinne Lune started as little more than a fairy’s whim. The inaugural year of the Nebraska Renaissance Faire and Medieval Pageant was also our first faire. Since then, we’ve been adding new items and making friends at three different faires in Nebraska, and looking forward to expanding in the future!
Here at Tinne Lune, we love beautiful things, and we love making them. No set of garb is complete without the right accessories. The little things DO matter, and so we delight in creating them. Here you’ll find the bag or pouch to carry all of your personal items securely, and without detracting from the garb you worked so hard on. We have sparkling hair charms, beads for pirate captains, horns for the mischievous noggins of fairies and fauns, flowers to crown thy brow, and hats to keep the sun off of it. We also carry beaded jewelry, and NEW in 2008, we’re adding sashes (perfect for rogues and pirates) and 4-point overskirts, (worn alone for pirate wenches and woodland fairies) barefoot sandals and hair sticks.
We welcome your custom inquiries, as we love working closely with our patrons to create something that’s perfect for them. Making friends is as important to us as making pretties!
Thank you for joining us on the journey… we wish you many blessings and much peace.
P.S. Please bear with us as we are adding exciting new features to our website. If you are looking for something in particular and can’t find it just drop us an email.
